Begining December 2025, all DoD contractors handling Controlled Unclassified Information must achieve CMMC Level 2 certification through a C3PAO, ensuring robust protection of sensitive data and compliance with security controls.
Federal Contractors must become must be certified before any contract award as per DFARS 252.204-7021 the regulation that requires CMMC requirements into contracts involving FCI or CUI
